2011 Photograph Gallery...

It was 2011, the inaugural run of the Butcher Shop House of Gore. Scrapped together from dumpster trash in nine days, with a pittance, a vision and a raw pig's head, we pulled it off! While they said "it can't be done!" Dan, strung salvaged wire to the ceiling balancing on a rickety ladder like an acrobat, and when we ran out of money for makeup, he volunteered to shave his head in patches to look more gruesome! Barb, wrapped in an old shower curtain, with her face coated in greasepaint and glitter, peered out from behind a cardboard stone wall, and Roger the tenderfoot, not sure if he even wanted to play-act  as a ghoul, was ready to go in the final hour, sprained ankle and all! We managed to scare quite a few in our fledgling year, and these photos illustrate that point in ghastly color!

The photos come from a time when the meat was fresh, before the Vegan Vampire Invasion. You ask "Why is that picture blurry?" Because someone left a paw-print on the camera obscura! It's hard enough to snap a shot of a see-through ghost, some of these dead-things were so ugly that the camera threw up! These pictures are our way of saying "Glad to meat you" and What do ghosts put on their crackers? Scream cheese!
